FAQ

1. Why use a 3D Body Scanner?

The Styku 3D Body Scanner will provide comprehensive body composition analysis unique to you, all while being non-invasive. This method is both precise, accurate and safe, making progress tracking intuitive and efficient.

2. Does the clothing I wear affect how Styku takes measurements?

Styku will measure what the scanner sees, and doesn’t see through clothing! Follow this guide to learn what clothing works best when scanning.
To get the best 3D scan of your body, wear form-fitting or shape-revealing clothing. For women, this could be a sports bra and leggings, for men, bike shorts or leggings and no shirt. The wrinkles and folds of a loose shirt or baggy shorts can mask changes to your body, and will make it hard to accurately track progress as you lose fat and your body’s shape and size changes.

3. Is the sensor harmful or invasive? Can people with pacemakers be scanned? Can I get scanned if pregnant?

The Kinect sensor used in the Styku scanner emits harmless infrared light, similar to that used in a remote control. It is completely non-invasive and safe to use.

4. Do scan credits expire?

Yes, both Standard and Deluxe Packs expire 1 year from purchase.

5. Refunds - Cancellations - Rescheduling

If you are unable to keep your appointment time, please let us know in advance to reschedule. Cancelations within an hour of your appointment or no shows will lose a scan credit.
